                             OUR STORY

In 1989, Dr. Barrielevia Evans, Ph.D. carried a vision: families should have a way to reach their incarcerated loved ones when transportation stands between them and a visit. More than three decades later, that vision has never been forgotten because neither have the families. The distance is still real. The missed visits are still real. And the mother, father, spouse, grandparent, or child who wants nothing more than an opportunity to sit across from someone they love is still the reason this vision matters.

Today, Sayahword MBC Inc. is working to turn that long-held vision into the Family Bond Transportation Ministry—safe, dependable, and compassionate transportation for families facing barriers to visitation. We do not pretend that transportation can change a sentence or erase the circumstances that brought a family here. But we believe it can help preserve a bond that distance should not be allowed to break. The vision began in 1989. The need remains today. And now, the vision is becoming the work.
